Wednesday 13th December saw Notre Dame’s annual Awards Celebration take place which was an evening of reflection, celebration and commendation.

We celebrated the whole person and recognised that every person matters through our Head, Heart and Hands Awards for each House.  Academic excellence was celebrated through the Subject Awards. We had the Kensington Taylor Award for Innovation in Technology, and the Father Keith Mitchell Award for Communication along with awards for Student Leadership and Rising to a Challenge. We also celebrated all our student examination successes through the recognition of all Year 11 & Year 13 students. Finally there were four major awards given by the Sisters of Notre Dame to celebrate significant action in the community by students of the School.

Our guest speaker was Mr Kevin Duggan, the Headteacher of Victoria Road Primary. Kevin spoke about the wonderful work carried out by his sister Teresa Duggan, a former student of Notre Dame. On an evening which embodied and celebrated all those students who have done Notre Dame proud, it was delightful to welcome Kevin to talk about such a wonderful example.

It was a spectacular evening for all who attended and congratulations to all of our award winners
