Declaration Of Openness

The Senior Student Team and the Student Senate of Notre Dame wish to support the following statement :

"Within the valued tradition of St Julie & the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, the governors, staff & students of Notre Dame RC School, Plymouth declare :

  • that as a Catholic school we welcome, value and intend to provide for students & staff of all religious traditions who join with us on their faith journey.
  • that we are a fully comprehensive school providing opportunities for learning for all students regardless of their ability or social background. We recognise that students attend the school from all areas of the city of Plymouth and beyond.
  • Notre Dame intends to provide a uniquely inclusive environment for learning and faith within the city of Plymouth."

We recognize the importance of every person involved in the school community and that they have a Voice.
