Plymouth CAST Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a diligent Clerk to Governors to support the joint local community board of Notre Dame Plymouth and St Boniface’s College. Acting with integrity, discretion and professionalism you will deliver a high level support service to the Governors and leaders of the schools.
Experience of minute taking and organising of meetings is essential whilst prior knowledge of school governance is desirable but full training will be provided. The role would suit someone looking to build their clerking portfolio or someone embarking on a career in governance support equally.
The successful candidate will be required to support in person at Full Governors’ Meetings which currently take place once per half term (6 times across the school year) on a Wednesday from approximately 4pm to 6.30pm. Availability to support other meetings as and when will be required, mostly during the school day. Other hours can be worked flexibly in school or from home with some weeks requiring more than the 4 hour average and some less.
