Plymouth CAST Multi-Academy Trust is seeking an Attendance Officer for Notre Dame Plymouth. The postholder will be a key figure in maintaining and raising our levels of school attendance, and will administrate all aspects of attendance processes in line with statutory requirements. The postholder will maintain accurate student attendance records and report on attendance as required, supporting the drive to enable access to education for all our students.  The successful candidate will have excellent communication and influencing skills and be experienced in working to deadlines.  As our Attendance Officer you will be able to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues, becoming a trusted advisor and expert professional to drive improving attendance for our school.

The postholder will need to have a strong administration background, be confident using data and be able to generate reports for the Senior Leadership Team, the DfE and other agencies.  Experience in a school administration role along with the use of Google packages would be advantageous.

Notre Dame is a comprehensive girls school with a mixed Sixth Form, run jointly with St Boniface’s College, based a few miles away.  Our Catholic ethos is central to our work, but you don’t need to be a Catholic to apply to work for either school.  We ask that our staff support our ethos and Christian values.

Applications should be submitted via TES.com by the deadline date.

Closing Deadline: Midnight, Sunday 5th July 2026
